Friday Mashup Challenge #32
I created a card this week for the challenge that inspired me from the image that is posted above it. So I choose the Crazy for Cupcakes stamp set. I did look for some ideas to get me started on splitcoast and found a card similiar to what I ended up doing but the person had more layers and different colors then I went with. I wanted the bright green in there cause I am giving it to a friend for her birthday and she loves lime green. I did want to go with a light pink ribbon but I didn't have any so I settled with the whisper white taffeta ribbon. I know I can color it but I didn't want the mess. The colors I used were Green Galore, Blush Blossom, and Melon Mambo. I also added some glitter to the cupcakes.

Friday Mashup Challenge #30
This is my entry for the challenge this week. I used chocolate chip, pink pirouette, and very vanilla cardstock. The stamp I used is from the Eat Chocolate set and is stamped in chocolate chip ink. I wanted to use the embossing plates and put big poke dots on my card but I realized I needed the rubber crease pad for it and I don't have one yet. So I ended up going with the embossing folder that has smaller dots instead. I did have trouble figuring out what brad I wanted to use. I found about 3 of these in a container. I wish I had more but it was the one I thought worked the best out of everything I have at the moment. I don't think its current though cause I couldn't find it in the book. The second card I made cause I didn't like the distressing of the edges I did on the first one as much and I changed the colors around a bit as well. Sorry the pink is actually a little lighter then that but I have a crappy camera at the moment that the focus and flash are not working all the great on.

Pretty pink birthday card for my first friday mashup entry.
I used Regal Rose cardstock for the base card and Melon Mambo as my accent color along with whisper white. The only other color I used was a Rich Razzleberry marker for some of the coloring. The stamp set is called Birthday Bakery. I used the eyelet border punch, small oval punch, and the scallop oval punch. I used the Elegant Lines embossing folder on whisper white in back. Then some organza ribbon and rhinestones to bling it up a little. Enjoy!

Scrach and Sniff card
This is a 3x3 Scratch and Sniff card I made for a swap. The picture didn't rotate so it's actually on its side. The black stripe DS paper is suppose to be on the bottom. It was my first time doing one so it was a learning experience. I found a tutorial on splitcoaststampers on how to mix the koolaid with a couple tablespoons of clear embossing powder. I used the Tart and Tangy stamp set. With my favorite Designer paper called Rockabilly. Then some Kiwi Kiss paper and Riding hood red ribbon. This has to be one of my favorite cards ever. I love cherries and skulls. It turned it sideways again. darn. Here is a link to the Tutorial I found.
Lion page
Patriotic Flowers
This was a make and take I did. I used Riding hood red with Pacific Point for the flowers and then some kraft cardstock to help it stand out. The ribbon was riding hood red as well. The stamp set is one of my favorite two step stamp sets and one of the first flower sets I bought called Flower Fancy from the 09-10 Stampin Up Catalog. Well the image was suppose to be the other way with the ribbon on the bottom, but it put it like this so it will have to do since I don't know how to fix it yet.
ABC's card
I made this for a swap I was doing. We were asked to make a back to school themed card. This was the best I could come up with at the moment. But I thought it would make a good children's card for any occasion. I don't remember what colors I used anymore but the stamp set I used was Jumble Alphabet. It was my first and only alphabet set so far. I plan on getting more but I really like this one.

My boys Birthday Invitation.
I made this buckle card for my boys birthday invitation. I used Pacific Point, Baja Breeze and Kiwi Kiss for my colors and then the Just Beachy Stamp set. Then added some googly eyes. I had a problem getting the words on the inside so I had to make the Baja Breeze cardstock a little wider then normal to get the words in. I did a little bit of playing with this for a couple hours late last night tell I was happy with it. Let me know what you think. thanks
